Last Full Day at SkyLab Bootcamp

What an amazing week! I can't believe I leave tomorrow already. We've been eating so "clean" all week that I am going to miss having my healthy, low-calorie meals made for me every day. I can feel my fertility growing as each day passes and I look forward to how I can keep it going at home.

For me, the nutrition is not as difficult as the exercise. I can make myself a healthy shake for breakfast each morning, have a bar or apple for a snack mid-morning and mid-afternoon, and enjoy a salad with protein at lunch. Dinners are a bit trickier, as I cook for my husband and myself, but I can make that work. The trick for me will be the exercise.

Here, I am able to enjoy a 1-2 hour hike or run every morning, as well as a swim or upper body workout every afternoon, as well as 20 minute run with Jackie late in the afternoon. And while I'm still working, both in coordinating and leading the program, I am also taking calls, checking emails, and meeting writing deadlines. Yet, I don't feel the stress I often feel at home. I'm sure that has to do with the relaxing environment, the exercise, and the incredibly healthy eating. It is this combination I will work to incorporate at home.

Last time I returned from a SkyLab Bootcamp, I became pregnant (though we immediately miscarried). Maybe this trip, I'll have the same luck, but with a different, more hopeful outcome!
