Baked Pears

Serves 4

Ingredients

2 pears
¼ cup xylitol
2 teaspoons cinnamon
¼ cup almonds, chopped
2 tablespoons flour
4 teaspoons Camellia tea oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Cut pears in half and core.
  3. In a small bowl, combine xylitol, cinnamon, almonds, flour, and tea oil.
  4. Place pears in an 8-inch square baking dish.
  5. Spoon almond about 1 tablespoon or so of almond mixture into center of each pear.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until pears are soft.
  7. Serve warm.
